This locket was inspired by Becky’s nephew Mason and his love of the moon, as well as the 1902 George Méliès’s film Le Voyage dans la lune. Mason & Margot’s Trip to the Moon invites you to create the story behind this moon-struck couple as they explore the surface of this celestial body.
As always, these lockets are created as part of a limited edition collaboration between becky’s buttons and illustrator, Miss Guindon. There are only 50 in existence so don’t delay, click here to purchase…
If you’re like me you just looked at the calendar today and thought to yourself, what happened to November?! Well folks holiday shopping season is upon us wether we’re ready for it or not. I’ve got two upcoming events to help you get your holiday shopping done handmade and locally. First up is the Share Denver Holiday Market, Sunday December 8th from 10am-4pm (click here to RSVP and invite a friend or two).
Do you like warm cookies, hot cocoa and a chance to win something?! Look no further than the Gifted Holiday Market Thursday December 12th from 5pm-9pm. This market offers you the chance to join a conversation about the cost of goods and peruse handmade goods from local vendors all in the heart of downtown Denver. Why not swing by after work? (Click here to learn more and spread the word).
Curating the Cool is an independently owned boutique located in Old Town Lafayette, Colorado that features an array of new and vintage merchandise. They are also one of the newest retailers to carry my line. I visited this shop this week for the first time and was impressed by their carefully curated selection of handmade and vintage goods.
If you are in the Lafayette area, make sure to add this locally owned business to your holiday shopping list.
Sara Guindon & I have just completed the fifth in a series of collaborative diorama locket designs. “Marceline Discovers the Castle and Her Adventure Begins” follows Marceline as she journeys through the cool winter night only to discover a castle as she passes through a clearing. A mysterious light is on in the window leaving us to wonder what awaits Marceline.
Okay, it’s no surprise that I’ve been looking for more ways to integrate crystals into my miniature creations, and the crystal diorama necklace follows suit with that creative trend. For those of you who love the crystal dioramas but just wish you could carry them with you all day long, this is the perfect accessory. Here’s how this works: Crystal Diorama + Diorama Necklace = Crystal Diorama Necklace! It’s like the distant cousin of the Crystal Vial Necklace but with a miniature figure. Okay I’ve taken this too far…let’s take a peek at the Crystal Diorama Necklaces that are available for purchase now… (click the links below for more info or to purchase!)
